So May saw the launch of our new website and we really feel that it not only came at the right time but gave potential customers more confidence in Manyatta as a whole.

Sales of regimental belts in particular immediately increased rapidly - incredibly helpful as outdoor sports came to a crushing halt, of course. It is completely understandable that if your team's cricket matches have been cancelled, for example, there is less desire to wear a belt in your team's colours. 

July saw the author of this blog leave his full-time job and move to Northamptonshire - a liberating but anxious time, inevitably. Would Manyatta provide the income necessary to make up for the loss of a salary?

Online sales continued to increase solidly and the time and expense of the new website was bearing fruit. 

New commissions came at a consistent pace, the highlight of which was undoubtedly Royal St George's Golf Club - arguably the most prestigious golf club in England. Justen the pro has been wonderful - he sent out an email to all the members and at the time of writing we have just delivered our 100th belt!

Thanks must also go to the Regimental Adjutant, Household Cavalry, for his help in working out the correct shades for the Blues & Royals and Life Guards belts. 

Perhaps the most striking belts are the 3 Lancer regiments, Royal Lancers, 17th/21st and Queen's Royal Lancers. Thanks go to the various officers past and present for their help. The motto (a skull and crossbones) has been brilliantly beaded and proved extremely popular.

So the summer drew to a close and into what was likely to be our busiest time of the year........
