Royal Green Jackets

£85

Created for the Royal Green Jackets which was an infantry regiment of the British Army.

It was formed in January 1966 by the amalgamation of 3 separate regiments of the Green Jackets Brigade.

The Royal Green Jackets has seen action in Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Kosovo.

In 2007, the regiment was amalgamated with The Light Infantry, The Devonshire and Dorset Light Infantry and The Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Light Infantry to form a single large regiment to be called The Rifles.

The 1st Battalion, The Royal Green Jackets' final operational tour was in Basra, Iraq, on Operation Telic in 2006-7.

The belt mirrors the stable belt in a horizontal design of green, red and black in appropriate widths.

All of our Royal Green Jackets belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads. We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable. This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Royal Green Jackets tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

IMPORTANT  - HOW TO MEASURE A BELT:

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
