Royal Scots Greys

£85

The Royal Scots Greys was a cavalry regiment of the British Army from 1707 to 1971, when they amalgamated with the 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards) to form the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.

The Royal Scots Greys has one of the most distinguished collections of battle honours of any British army regiment, including:

- The War of Spanish Succession

- The War of Austrian Succession

- Waterloo

- the Crimean War

- the First World War including Ypres, Arras and Somme

- the Second World War including El Alamein and Salerno

The Royal Scots Greys’ Maasai beaded belt is based on their stable belt and is thus horizontal in style with stripes of grey, gold, red and navy blue.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
