Army Air Corps

£85

Created for the Army Air Corps, mirroring their stable belt.

The Army Air Corps is a component of the British Army, first formed in 1942 by grouping the various airborne units of the army.

Today, there are 8 regiments as well as 4 independent flights and 2 independent squadrons.

There are around 2000 regular personnel in the Army Air Corps and as of 2019, they solely operate rotary-wing aircraft in the operational environment.

Battle honours are long and include the Normandy Landings, Sicily, Pegasus Bridge, Arnhem, the Falklands campaign, the 1991 Gulf conflict and the 2003 Iraq war.

The belt is horizontal in design and alternating dark blue, light blue, dark blue.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads. We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable. This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Army Air Corps tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

IMPORTANT  - HOW TO MEASURE A BELT:

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
