Royal Marines

The Corps of Royal Marines is an amphibious light infantry and one of the 5 fighting arms of the Royal Navy.

It can trace its origins back to 1664.

It is a highly specialised and adaptable elite light infantry force and they are capable of rapid deployment worldwide.

Wherever the UK is at war, the Royal Marines are likely to be there: Napoleonic Wars, Crimean, World War I, World War II, The Falklands conflict, the Gulf War, the Bosnian War, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Royal Marines are part of the Naval Service and under full command of the Fleet Commander.

They are required to undergo one of the longest and most physically demanding infantry training regimes in the world.

They have a proud history and unique traditions.

The Royal Marines beaded belt is based on the stable belt and is horizontal in design.

It is primarily navy blue with lines of yellow, green and red.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Royal Marines tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
