Old Etonian (Eton College)

£85

Did you know 20 British Prime Ministers have been educated at Eton College?

Trying to list a few other famous OEs is a near impossible task as there are so many so let’s leave it at the Duke of Cambridge, the future king of the United Kingdom.

The school was founded by King Henry VI in 1440 to provide free education to 70 poor boys who would then go on to King’s College, Cambridge, which he founded the following year.

It is one of four remaining boys-only independent boarding schools in the UK.

Fees may be steep but around 20% of the boys receive bursaries or do not pay at all.

The belt is entirely Manyatta’s own creation as nothing previously existed.

We have used the black and Eton blue in a horizontal pattern and were recently kindly granted permission to sell it by the Old Etonian Association.

Our Eton College belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure they are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Eton College tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

IMPORTANT  - HOW TO MEASURE A BELT:

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
