Old Glenalmond (Glenalmond College)

£85

Old Glenalmond is the name given to the alumni of Glenalmond College, the distinguished independent boarding school near the town of Perth in Scotland, UK.

Glenalmond opened in 1847 as Trinity College, Glenalmond and was renamed in 1983.

It was founded by the future Prime Minister, William Gladstone and James Hope-Scott.

The college became co-educational in the 1990s.

The Old Glenalmond belt is designed on the tie and is in a vertical style of green, blue, black and red stripes, in the same proportion.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

The standard belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The thin size is 1.25 inches wide.

The old Glenalmond College tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
