Old Harrovian (Harrow School)

£85

Old Harrovian is the name given to those boys who attended Harrow School, an independent boarding school in Harrow-on-the-Hill, United Kingdom.

Harrow School was founded in 1572 under a royal charter from Queen Elizabeth I by local landowning farmer, John Lyon.

Harrow's 324 acres comprise 6 conservation areas, a registered park, a 9-hole golf course and a working farm.

Former Old Harrovians include statesmen such as Winston Churchill, Peel, Palmerston, Nehru and King Hussein of Jordan; writers including Byron, Sheridan and Trollope; Lord Rayleigh, the Nobel prize-winner; Fox Talbot, the inventor of photography; Field Marshall Alexander and no fewer than 19 winners of the Victoria Cross.

The belt has been designed in a horizontal style based on the Old Harrovian colours of navy blue and white.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Harrow School tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
