Old King's Scholars Association (The King's School, Canterbury)

Old King's Scholars Association is the name given to the alumni of the King's School, Canterbury, the distinguished independent day and boarding school in Kent, UK.

The King's School is the oldest public school in Britain and arguably the oldest continuously operating school in the world, since education on the Abbey and cathedral grounds has been uninterrupted since AD 597.

The school was boys-only for almost 400 years until the early 1970s and the school has been fully co-educational since 1990.

It is also the oldest charity in the UK.

Alumni include: Patrick Leigh Fermor, David Gower, Christopher Marlowe, Michael Morpurgo, Charles Powell, W Somerset Maugham and Anthony Worrall Thompson.

The Old King's Scholars Association belt is designed on the tie and is in a vertical style of burgundy, blue and white in the same proportion.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

The standard belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The thin size is 1.25 inches wide.
