King's Royal Hussars

The King's Royal Hussars (KRH) is a cavalry regiment of the British Army.

It is part of the Royal Armoured Corps. The regiment was formed in 1992 and is based at Tidworth.

It serves as the armoured regiment of the 12th Armoured Infantry Brigade.

The regiment was formed on 4 December 1992 by the amalgamation of two other regiments. The Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales's Own) and 14th/20th King's Hussars .

The Colonel-in-chief of the regiment is Princess Anne, The Princess Royal.

The King’s Royal Hussars uses the military’s Challenger 2 Main battle tank and there are currently 331 vehicles in active service.

The King's Royal Hussars Maasai beaded belt is based on their stable belt - horizontal in style with a dark red, gold, dark red design.
