Old Miltonian (Milton Abbey)

£85

Old Miltonians is the name given to former pupils of Milton Abbey School in Dorset, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1954 and is co-educational.

The school has deliberately been kept at a small size but is nonetheless blessed with some of the most outstanding facilities in the country.

Its beauty has resulted in it being the setting of many TV programmes and films such as ‘To Serve Them All My Days’, ‘The Browning Version’ and ‘Ripping Yarns’.

The belt has been modelled on the old school tie of gold, black and white and we created it in a vertical style.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Milton Abbey tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
