Queen's Royal Lancers

£85

The belt has been designed with the help of a former officer of the Queen's Royal Lancers.

The Queen's Royal Lancers was a cavalry regiment of the British Army. It was formed in 1993 and amalgamated with the 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales's) to form the Royal Lancers.

The regiment's nickname, the 'Death or Glory Boys', came from their cap badge and was known as 'the motto'.

It features a pair of crossed lances together with a skull and crossbones, below which is a ribbon containing the words 'Or Glory'.

It is in a vertical, red and white design with the regiment's motto around the belt.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads and can take up to 3 days to bead.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Queen's Royal Lancers tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
