The Queen's Bodyguard for Scotland, the Royal Company of Archers (Childrens)

£70

The Queen’s Body Guard for Scotland, Royal Company of Archers is an Archery Club dating from 1676.

In 1822 it was granted the honour of becoming The Queen’s Body Guard for Scotland.

It is known colloquially as the Royal Company and is located in Edinburgh.

It has a long history of celebrating the sport of long-bow archery and still competes for venerable prizes such as the Musselburgh Arrow dating from 1603, arguably the oldest sporting trophy still competed for in the world.

The belt has been designed in conjunction with the Royal Company and is in the vertical style of green, gold and red.

It is sold on this website with the kind permission of The Queen’s Body Guard for Scotland, Royal Company of Archers.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Royal Company tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt

IMPORTANT  - HOW TO MEASURE A BELT:

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
